As
tender as the sparrow, so it is with a love lost at a young age.
"We never had a chance"… "There wasn’t
enough time". Losing a "significant other" before
their lives began, or losing a spouse before the dreams could
be fulfilled. All the plans that will never be, like the
sparrow falling from the nest too soon, becomes fearful of the
lonely flight that is ahead.
Losing
someone who was to have been a life partner at such a tender age
can make you feel cheated. Some never had the chance to even begin
their families. Some are left to raise small children alone. The
emptiness this leaves can be devastating. Having your children
ask where "mommy" is, or "when
is daddy coming home" can tear you apart.
The
fear of being alone at such a tender age overwhelms you. How can
I ever find love again? The future is scary having to do it alone.
There’s resentment in seeing other couples going on
with building their futures together when
yours was just taken from you.
Tender
Angels is a branch of young men and young women sharing all the
emotions and fears that come with being left widowed
at such a young age. The candid discussions of not having children,
having to raise children, fears of dating,
actually dating and learning new relationships or starting over
again and dealing with the past love and the new love as you enter
into marriage again.
