Hello!
You are being invited to participate in a doctoral level research study under the supervision of James McHolland, Ph.D. on the experience of grief and bereavement among individuals who lost a parent to death as adolescents and young adults (age 15 – 25). Your involvement in this study will make a valuable contribution to the body of research about the experiences of grief and bereavement among adolescents and young adults who have lost a parent to death. It was the sudden death of my dad that pushed me to want to focus my career on helping others through their own grief as well as contribute to the quality of research on grief and bereavement. I know how devastating grief is and have put much thought and time (3 years so far) into getting this study together.
It is expected to take approximately 30 – 35 minutes to fill out.
I have made this study available online for people to take for easy accessibility. However, you do have to be 18 or older to take the study online. To be eligible to participate, the death of a parent had to occur when the participant was between the age of 15 and 25.
Below is the link to the online portion of my study. Copy the link into your browser window.
