Purpose

The purpose of the message board is to provide a forum for hosts to express themselves related to GROWW issues. Problems, suggestions, ideas, techniques, perspectives, and opinions may all be posted. Admiration for fellow hosts may also be expressed, and the board may be used as a means to provide information to hosts.

Guidelines For Posting

The board is an extension of the site itself, hence the greater good of the GROWW community, and the general philosophy of caring/sharing should be kept in mind and employed when posting.

Private expressions or conversations between/among individuals are not appropriate in this forum and are better suited for private discussion or email.

Please express yourself in a constructive manner. Criticisms of specific individuals are counterproductive and will not be tolerated.

Use of foul language, as well as expressions of prejudice, bigotry or intolerance is inappropriate.

It is good practice to type messages in a word processing program first, and then edit prior to posting. Changes cannot be made after posting, and removal of postings is a difficult and tedious task.

If posting anonymously, please do so judiciously. In general, the decision to post anonymously should be well thought out, keeping in mind, the purpose and guidelines for posting.

The Host Message Board has 3 distinct sections which should be used for their intended purpose.

1. GROWW Hosts Discussions, is for communications of Room Hosting matters only. Helpful tips and concerns should be posted here.

2. Problems Members, is to communicate concerns about individual members and inappropriate behavior. Any posting on the Problem Members section should be followed up with and email to Security@groww.org

3. News & Information, is for Host to share personal news, good and bad. Its a way for us to share about our joys and a place to ask for prayers.
